Ryan Scripps on Tue 4/26 at 7pm

Ryan's passion for music started at the young age of nine when he picked up the guitar for the first time and hasn't put it down since. Not long after Ryan began learning how to play guitar, he joined a local rock band as the lead guitar player and entered various local battle of the bands contests. The first band he ever played in was "Referral". They entered into a contest a local classic rock radio station hosted by the famous Greg Kihn was putting on called The Last Band Standing. Ryan and his band ended up winning the contest in the 18/under category and got to play 5-6 songs live on air with Greg Kihn on his morning show. "It felt surreal at only 14 yrs old being able to play live on the air with Greg Kihn for an audience of around a million people. It couldn't have been a better experience for me and the band", Ryan recalls.

At 16 years old, Ryan really began to find a love and passion for country music. "I have some family who loved country music and it really just grew on me over time the more I was around it. You would think I would get sick of it from constantly hearing my family listening to it but it actually just made me love this genre of music even more."

It wasn't until around the age of 18 years old that Ryan began to develop himself as a vocalist. "I would bring my guitar to play at a friends bonfire and while I loved to play the guitar all night, I felt like there was something missing. I really wanted to start singing," Ryan recalls. At that point, Ryan had a grown passion for country music and began uploading videos to YouTube of himself singing and playing popular country songs. As Ryan began to progress and get better he wanted to take things to the next level and that was starting a country band. Now at the age of 23, Ryan has been playing regularly at various country bars across Northern California along with his band and strong female vocalist, Cece Bamburg.

About one year ago, Ryan released his first EP to iTunes and Spotify titled as "Ryan 'n' Cece". The three song EP includes two originals written by Ryan and one cover song which were all produced by Ben Araiza of Def Moose Studios based out of San Jose, CA. Ryan is currently working on a brand new EP which will feature him as a solo artist. "Music is my ultimate passion and you never know where it's going to take you. The most important aspect is that you gotta have fun with it and I feel so blessed to be able to do that on a regular basis."-Ryan
